Day 1: Arrilval to Punta Arenas

Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in Punta Arenas for one night.

Day 2: Expedition Cruise Ship

Check in from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Magallanes 990, Punta Arenas. 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. embark the Expedition Cruise Ship.
The Captain and crew will give a welcome cocktail reception on board. Immediately afterward, the ship will set sail for the "uttermost part of the earth." Through the mythical Strait of Magellan, we will travel to Southern Patagonia, including Tierra de Fuego. This is the beginning of a Great Adventure!

During the dawn's early light, our ship will continue navigating through Almirantazgo Inlet, until arriving near Marinelli Glacier in Ainsworth Bay, where we will enjoy a walk to discover a beaver dam in the midst of a marvelous Magellanic forest. On the beach we will observe a colony of Elephant Seals. Continuing the voyage, we will visit Tucker Islet, where we will sight colonies of Magellanic penguins and Cormorants from the zodiac boats.

We will navigate the main part of the Beagle Channel to enter Pia Fjord and disembark near the glacier of the same name. We will take an excursion to a look-out point that is ideal for viewing the mountain range where the glacier originates, and its flow all the way to the sea. After this unforgettable experience, we will sail again along the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel through majestic "Glacier Alley": Spain, Romanche, Germany, Italy, France and Holland glaciers.

We will sail through the Beagle and Murray Channels to disembark in Cape Horn National Park. Cape Horn, a sheer, almost 425-meter-high promontory, where the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean merge, was discovered in 1616 by the Dutch commercial expedition organized by Isaac Le Maire. The Cape owes its name to the Port of Hoorn, the expedition's departure point. In the afternoon, we will disembark in Port Williams, the southernmost town in the world, where you can take optional excursions, such as the visit to Martin Gusinde Museum. 

Day 6: Usuhaia

Arrival to Ushuaia, the most important Argentine city in Tierra de Fuego, and the southernmost city in the world. Disembark at 8:00 a.m. Transfer to Your Hotel and on the afternoon Excursion to Martillos Island Penguin Colony. Departure from Ushuaia touristic pier at 2 pm. Walk among the penguins of the Beagle Channel on an unforgetable nature tour from Ushuaia.
You will sail to Martillo Island, home to a colony of Magellanic penguins from September through April.
Meet your guide at the tourist port of Ushuaia, and drive the legendary National Route N° 3 for staggering views of the Patagonian countryside.
Then, take a 15-minute boat ride to Martillo Island. The Magellanic penguin rookery hosts around 1,000 nests, and is one of just 3 in the Tierra del Fuego region. There is also a small colony of 9 breeding gentoo penguin couples (Pygocelis Papua), the only one in South America. Take a 1-hour guided walk with the penguins in groups of no more than 20 people for your - and the penguins - comfort and safety. Along with the penguins, look out for skúa birds, petrels, cormorants, vultures and South American terns.
Then, sail back to Harberton Farm on the mainland for some free time to explore the traditional estancia (ranch). Wander around the gardens, and visit the Marine Mammals and Sea Birds Museum Acatushun to learn more about the endemic wildlife. Take in the the views of the "End of the World" before your transfer back to the port in Ushuaia.

Day 7: Usuhaia

Breakfast, Wild landscapes, adrenaline and a cocktail of emotions are some of the things that will be waiting for you on this amazing experience. We invite you to live a day in Tierra del Fuego countryside, to be part of this exciting adventure full of anecdotes and moments that will leave you breathless.
We pick you up at your hotel in the morning and we head to Ushuaia's exit through the National Road N°3. Our first stop will be at the panoramic point of Carbajal Valley; where we will be able to appreciate the glacier origin.
We continue the drive till we arrive to Ushuaia Blanca located in the touristic resort Villa Las Cotorrasfor a quick technical stop.We get back on the road where we will be amazed by the spectacular landscapes offered by Andes Mountains. We finally get to pass this mountains range through the legendary "Paso Garibaldi"; we will have the most spectacular postcard just in front of our eyes, Escondido and Fagnano Lakes are now visible. We start descending through an alternative road; this is the beginning of our 4x4 journey. Here is where we get inside the fuegian forest through the paths that were used by the first lumberjacks looking to exploit these lands. This way we will get to Escondido Lake where we will prepare some Argentinian "Mate" and share some snacks while enjoying the amazing view. Our adventure continuous and we get to Fagnano Lake where we can see the Magallanes fault line.
After the adventure we head to a small village located on the Escondido Lake where we will have lunch at La Casona del Rio Milna and we will enjoy their home made cuisine. Lots of options to choose from for the starter, main dish, desert, with beverages and coffee included.
After lunch and a nice talk we head back to Ushuaia.

Day 8: Depart

Breakfast. Check Out of your hotel and before you depart from Ushuaia to your next destination you will have a sailing Trip to les Eclareurs Lighthouse and Sea lions Island.
We leave the local port in a comfortable catamaran, crossing the bay of Ushuaia and enjoying the mountainous environment. In the course of the navigation, we will visit colonies of Southamerican Furs Seals, Rock Cormorants and Imperial Cormorants. We approach the lighthouse Les Eclaireurs, icon of our city and we return to the city bordering the coast of the Beagle Channel.
Afternoon transfer to Ushuaia Airport and flight to your next destination.
